Kemal Piskin

VP Security & IT

Piskin serves as Vice President of Security and Information Technology of TSC, headquartered in Arlington, VA, where he is responsible for leading the strategic direction and oversight of TSC’s company-wide physical security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. This includes protecting TSC’s people, facilities, and digital assets, while also advancing our capabilities in emerging areas such as AI and secure network design.

Kemal is a Navy veteran who comes to TSC with over 30 years of experience in corporate and military cybersecurity and IT management. He has demonstrated his corporate leadership and expertise over the last 18 years working with rapidly growing R&D companies and larger corporations in the DoD. In each, Kemal was instrumental in architecting and managing the critical aspects of cybersecurity and IT with his accomplishments earning him the recognition as a top 100 CISO for 2022, 2023 and 2024 by Cyber Defense Magazine.

Prior to joining TSC, Mr. Piskin, served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Aerospace Corporation, a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) focused on the Space enterprise. He also served as CISO and Deputy Chief Information Officer at LGS Innovations and LinQuest Corporation, both focused on R&D of novel sensors and platforms supporting U.S. national interests.

As a Naval Officer, Kemal served as an Information Warfare Officer with notable assignments of Information Operations Experimentation Director for Network Warfare Command and Operations Officer for the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command.

Mr. Piskin earned his BS and MS degrees in Information Systems Management at the University of Maryland and Bowie State University, respectively. He is also CISSP, C|CISO, CRISC and ITIL certified.
